REVIEW | JOSIE MARAN ARGAN OILS

Josie Maran's collection is quickly causing my wishlist to grow longer and longer. Not just in skincare, but in makeup as well! I'm dying to try the Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée in Poppy Paradise and the Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation.

My attention initially focused on her Argan Oils, available for face, body, and hair. While it took me a bit of time to get used to using them, they started a new obsession with oils.

I purchased the 0.5 oz bottle of the 100% Pure Argan Oil first. Marketed to use on your face, body, and hair, it is yet another oil that just doesn't work on my hair at all. It makes it look dirty, and not in that sexy "I showered yesterday" way. I love using it on my face as a night treatment, and find that it goes on much lighter than I expected. I use the dropper to put a few drops on my fingers, and then pat it onto my skin. It doesn't absorb too quickly, but I wake up with my skin feeling moisturized and renewed. This can easily be used during the day, but I feel my makeup looks better when I put on a regular moisturizer.

I've wanted to use oils in my hair for ages, and decided to take the plunge with the Argan Oil Hair Serum. This works MUCH better for me than the original Argan Oil in my hair. It doesn't make it look piecey or dirty at all, even if I end up putting on too much. It comes with an easy to use pump, as opposed to the dropper that is in part many other products in the line.

I find that it doesn't make my hair exceptionally shiny, but it does really cut down on the frizz. In the humid summer or rainy days, it is a must!

Have you tried any of Josie Maran's Argan products? Which are your favorite?
